    There is no such thing as P8300. Intel has released their list of future processors and P8300 isn't on that list. I'd be wary of the eBay posting.

    P8300 is against their naming convention.

    Im really tempted to buy it just to see. I belive it because it has a 8 multiplier vs 8.5 for the p8400 and cpu world has it listed up there as 2.13ghz

    While it follows logically in progression with the others, the fact is, Intel has not released any information on this CPU. Since it's an ES, it could be a one of a kind thing. I doubt it will ever come out in retail or OEM as Intel typically only releases faster processors (ie. P8700).

    what s the difrence between the T-series and P -series anyway?

    T series is 35W TDP (thermal design power) and the P series 25W TDP. In reality the P series have lower maximum power ratings through the whole operating range, include the sleep modes. P series is preferable if you want less heat / fan noise and longer battery time.

    The P series also has 1066mhz fsb vs 800mhz in the t serries ( For the 8000 chips this is true )
