I was wondering what is faster, a Core 2 processor T5500 (2mb cache/1.66GHz/667MHz FSB) with an 256mb ati x1400 or a Core 2 processor T7200 (4mb cache/2.00GHz/667MHz FSB) with an integrated intel 950. And also if wuts the difference between those two and a Duo Core processor T2400 (1.83GHz/667MHz/2x 1mb L2 cache) with an 256 mb ati x1400?

As for pure processing speed, such as integer or floating point calculations, the Merom generation of processors (Core 2) are cited to be 25%-40% faster than the Yonahs (Core).
It all depends on what you use your laptop for. -
if u want graphics power than the 1st one with ati x1400 is powerful system and if u want office and application powers than select the 2nd one or u can say 1st one is for gaming and 2nd one is for non 3d applications

The T5500 is still a VERY capable chip. If you plan to do any gaming or 3D modelling at all then I recommend that you take that in combination with the X1400. If you do a lot of video encoding or number crunching then you will see the benefits of the faster Core 2 otherwise you probably won't notice the difference 95% of the time.
If you never plan to game and battery life is your number 1 priority then by all means forgo the X1400 and get the faster CPU or just stick with the T5500 and either save the cash or put it towards more RAM or a larger/faster HDD. Having said that, with Vista on the horizon, having a halfway decent GPU is certainly going to be advantageous. -
What's fastest, a boat or a car? Sorta depends on what you do with it, or where you use it (and, say, whether you're trying to cross land or water).
For CPU-bound purposes, the faster CPU will win. For GPU-bound tasks, the non-integrated card will win.
