    Core duo same thing as centrino duo??

    I ordered a dell inspiron with a T2600 Intel core duo 2.16Ghz, am I getting whats out right now. Is it the same as a centrino duo?

    The Centrino Duo isn't a CPU, it's a platform. Or a marketing gimmick, depending on your point of view.

    Centrino is just a standard Intel made up that includes one of their processors and a certified wireless card. So yes Centrino Duo and Core Duo are teh same.
