Hey I have an Intel T5750 Core 2 Duo. Anyway according to RMClock CPU 00 is running consistently around 51.5C and CPU 01 is averaging about 53C. Is this normal?

Perfectly, don't ask me why but I get similar reading.

Maybe the OS operates more on one core (more load) and thus this core is warmer (more load = more heat). That's all I can think of

Those temps are normal, since there are two separate cores, it does depend upon the work-load or stress on each core....
The hot spot of the die moves to different locations depending on the nature of the workload....so which ever core will be having more work-load will display a relatively higher core temperature....(Also depends upon the number of threads/cores a program or software utilizes)

It's actually weird if they're running at similar temperatures. To save energy and all that good stuff, the system will only utilise one core, thus making one warmer than the other. Usually for me (under light load), one core can hit 40, while the other stays at 22! Yay for energy saving xD.
