    Corrupt Temperature sensor

    is it possible for the temperature sensors in a laptop to get broken and give invalid corrupt readings? cuz i htink mine are that way, even when the notebook is at idle and feels really cool where the Hard disks are located, they give me a reading of 46, b4 when it used to feel much hotter than it feels now, the maximum temp is used to get of hard disks were 41.
    also my core #0 is mostly at 31-32 but core# 1 is always above 40, b4 it was not like this :(

    Not very likely to have corrupt reading.Try using other softwares.

    try RMclock to monitor temps... and you can also undervolt CPU to reduce heat and power consumption thus extending battery life
