    Yes, the cheapest RAM on Newegg that's any decent brand is more money plus shipping. And the exchange rate is pretty much equivalent so yes it is a good deal.

    i got the 1333 version of this ram and at the time i got in amazon it was much cheaper than the equivalents in newegg so i do think corsair is selling good quality, cheap ram amongst them all.

    Corsair makes great memory, though I've never bought RAM for notebook. I've bought their Dominator and XMS3 series RAM. Very easy to overclock and run nice and cool.

    I would buy it at that price and just wait for the RAM.
