What is my lap-top cpu speed running at? When I open up cpu-z this is what I see can someone explain this to me please....
CPU SLFM (Dynamic FSB): 800.0 MHz = 6.00 x 133.3 MHz @ 0.9250 V
CPU LFM (Minimum): 1600.0 MHz = 6.00 x 266.7 MHz @ 1.0000 V
CPU HFM (Maximum): 2533.3 MHz = 9.50 x 266.7 MHz @ 1.1125 V [Locked]
CPU Current: 2394.0 MHz = 9.00 x 266.0 MHz @ 1.1125 V
Why does it say cpu current is 2394.0mhz shoulden't it be 2533.3 ?

The laptop is throttling the cpu speed based on usage, to decrease heat and power usage. The fact that it's not running at it's full speed just means that it's not 100% stressed.
1600mhz is the minimum clock speed that it'll throttle to, and 2533mhz is the maximum clock speed of the processor. -
Thx for the info cause I just up-graded my cpu and coulden't understand that.

can u first say what CPU u have and what laptop u have? some utilities might not report the right speed...
Cpu reading not right
