I have onboard Sigmatel Highdefinition Audio Codec. I had got a Creative Sound Blaster Audigy MB CD when I bought my laptop. It was working fine. I just reinstalled my Win 7 with all the audio and other drivers. Now, I also reinstalled my creative software but it says " There are no supported audio device available". Any Help on this please? Also one more question. I am seeing a new adaptor which I don't know about. What is terredo tunneling pseudo interface?
Thanks

wow,did you install the 64 bit version?it doesn't detect all the drivers.
also sometimes 32 bit windows 7 doesnt detect drivers too.
just try to search -
so are you saying you had this working before in Win7, then reinstalled everything and now it's now working?

Yup! I have attached the screenshot. This was the software that came with my laptop. Im runnin Win 7 32 bit. Any idea how to make it work? My sound card drivers are installed and are working properly. Any idea?

So sound works fine, but you just can't install the creative software?
-
Did you buy chance have this stuff installed on vista, then upgraded to windows 7 WITHOUT reformatting? Cause if this is the case, the creative software may have worked in vista, then when you did a clean install of windows 7, it is incompatible. I don't know... sounds weird.
IMO creative make great products... but their software and drivers are VERY MUCH left to be desired. -

I did a clean installation. It says that I dont have a supported audio device. Infact it was running well. Also can anyone tell me what is terredo tunneling pseudo interface? I can see it under my network adaptors.

Can anything be done for that?

Googling shows an answer for your network thing. Have you called dell about the audio problem?

My M1730 came with Vista but I upgraded to Win 7. That's the case. I think I should talk with creative. Even though, if anyone got any info then plz share with me.
Thanks -
one last clear up. You had the creative software working in vista. When you upgraded/did a clean install of win 7, the creative software won't work?
-
Did you try running the creative software in compatiblity mode?
-

I did a clean install of Win 7 and yes I tried compatiability mode. It looks like other are also having the same problem as I saw one thread similar to mine.

Creative are usually slow comming out with drivers, and usually drop support on a lot of their stuff. You will be lucky if they even plan to release any.
-
This really sucks, I have the same problem... you would think Dell or Creative would do SOMETHING about it....

I think this problem can only be solved if there is a new installation from Creative or a Win 7 drivers for our soundcard. Why don't you also email creative so will I.
