    Hi,

I have a PC running 8.1 Enterprise, and an M500 which support eDrive. My PC includes a TPM module (T410).

In the past I have used Bitlocker and the processor does the encryption. I installed the M500 and went and enabled Bitlocker and it is just doing the standard software encryption on the drive.

Does anyone have any link/info on what is required on a PC to support eDrive other than Win8? I guess it may be that a modern UEFI firmware is required that supports eDrive if the BIOS loads the keys from the TPM into the drive at boot ahead of the OS running.

    Thanks
