This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    I only got 222 hours on my hard drive and

    used up 438GB host writes

    441GB in the last 1 1/2 hour


    this is pretty bad I use my other laptop it only has only 1.5TB writes on it with 27,000 hours of use it's from 2007

    I have the swap file set to my other mechanical HDD i also tried it disabled and it's still racking up 48GB per 24 hour power on


    I see the internet broswer is doing about 1-10 megabyte/s write to the cache folder
