Good Day guys!
The 002 firmware for the crucial m4 is out and crucial fixed the LPM problem that plagued all of us m4 users. I have a BIG BIG problem though. im using my m4 in my m14x, and i have a HD installed on my optical bay. since the firmware update files are .iso, is there a way for me install the update using a usb? i've tried using unetbootin and creating a windows 98 bootable usb, but they do not work. can anyone help out?
Thanks!

If the files are small enough, try making a USB key bootable with the trial version of UltraISO.
Also, how do you know that the LPM problem is fixed, if you haven't done it yet? -
When I did the same operation on my C300 I simply pulled the HDD (the SSD was the boot/OS disk) and put back in the optical drive while I upgraded the BIOS.

well, i saw the 002 firmware thread at crucial's forum. a lot of members are saying that it has been fixed

Updating firmware has nothing to do with OS? Because If someone update firmware and in middle its freezing, it would be very bad...mayby?

Mr_Mysterious Like...duuuuuude
Updating firmware most likely does not have to do anything with the OS, but it does have to do with the drive, which is what is causing the problem in the first place
Mr. Mysterious -
firmware 002 makes the ssd deal with lpm better
can anyone guide me on how to make the bootable cd into a bootable usb? ive tried the windows installation via usb way but it wouldnt work.
thanks!!
