I've got a Dell XPS-M1330 with 2GB, since the ram prices have fallen all time low, i want to buy a 4GB kit. however when checking 667 modules i find both 5-5-5 and 5-5-15 latencies
the -15 versions are a bit more expensive ,but the nbr is higher? which of the 2 is better?

Lower latencies should almost always be better.

It's definitely against the norm that the RAM with the higher latency is priced higher.

Please correct me if I'm wrong, the 5-5-15 is actually a typo on whatever product you were looking at. DDR2 667 is generally 5-5-5-15 (there are 4 numbers in latency), so it's actually a combination of the two you saw, and so technically they have the same latencies.
