I've got a Dell XPS-M1330 with 2GB, since the ram prices have fallen all time low, i want to buy a 4GB kit. however when checking 667 modules i find both 5-5-5 and 5-5-15 latencies
the -15 versions are a bit more expensive ,but the nbr is higher? which of the 2 is better?

Commander Wolf can i haz broadwell?
Lower latencies should almost always be better.
It's definitely against the norm that the RAM with the higher latency is priced higher. -
Please correct me if I'm wrong, the 5-5-15 is actually a typo on whatever product you were looking at. DDR2 667 is generally 5-5-5-15 (there are 4 numbers in latency), so it's actually a combination of the two you saw, and so technically they have the same latencies.

Good thinking Batman!
probably some kind of XML parse error on the website
(was looking at Kingston, Buffalo and G.E.I.L.)
DDR2 SO-DIMM: 5-5-5 or 5-5-15?
