Is there any ddr 800 for notebooks out there?
-
Yes there is. But no current notebook I know of can use it. Santa Rosa is limited to 667mhz ram.

DDR2-800 still performs the same, or worse, than current 533 and 667 modules. If you want a high performance laptop you should focus on other parts of the laptops.

I'm using the Sager NP9260 which is equipped with 2GB of DDR2-800 RAM. However it is not a Santa Rosa machine:

RAM speed isn't a big deal in notebooks; even 533MHz RAM is plenty for the Core 2 Duo.
