Alright I have a problem, both system will not post.

Originally I thought I had a bad mobo. I tried a different CPU and RAM and thought well, I got a bad mobo. I RMA it. I ended up buying a new DH55tc, added same components. Same issue. NO POST. I got my RMA board in today, so now I have 2 practically new boards and another I3 CPU. I put new ram and the new CPU onto the new board, same issue, NO POST. It will beep if I remove the ram, on both systems.

I do have a 8800gts and a GTX470. I've switched them around, played with it a bit, switch ram and cpu, nothing. That I can see, there is only 1 jumper, and thats for the clear cmos. That set correctly, if put into reset mode the unit wont even turn on. No way i got that wrong. I also tried 2 different PSU, ones a 550 and the other is 600w. The 600w is new, nothing fancy just a generic brand. I also tried a PCI video card, still nothing.

So it beeps when I remove ram. What are the odds of getting a bad RMA board from Intel and a new out of the box board also being bad?

    Am I missing something?

are you hooking up any switches/lights to the mobo (reset/power, HDD, etc??)

Try just hooking up the power switch.

Is the ram you are using actually supported by the boards?

The ram was initially working with the board before. 1333, nothing special. I've tried a new one and the the ones that were installed. Nothing else is connected to the board, no drives, no cables, I just close the circuit with my screw driver to turn it on.

CPU fan working? Some mobos including Intels have fan detection on. No fan, no power on.

Are you ram sticks in the right slots? If they are in 1 and 3, try 2 and 4 or vice versa.
