Interesting.. After wondering why I was only getting an hour of battery life out of my HP. I recently downloaded the new HWMonitor software- as I occasionally do.

I noticed the new battery indicator. And you'll notice my Full Charge capacity is only half the battery's rating. 28 vs 47Wh

Now you can buy 44/47/88 and 95Wh batteries for this model.
It is hard to tell from some vendors if they (the 12cells) are double height.

    Some appear NOT.. like

Maybe not HP genuine, but 3yr warranty is better than most at 6mths.

Anybody tried one of these. At 9600mAh I should achieve triple the life of my apparently stuffed battery.

Thoughts? And yes, this thing runs hot.... Nvidia G86M and T9500 assaulting my little heatsink.
