    Hi all,

I know that most m/b on laptops are very specific due to shape, etc, but i was wondering if i could change hte mobo from the dv2699 (dv2000 chasiss) with the dv2799 (i believe same chassis?). would it all work? if cables need extending, i'm sure i can cobble something together, i jsut want to know if the CPU will fit/work?

I have already upgraded my ram to 4gb, hdd to 320gb, wireless draft-n card and extended battery, i just want a more (just!) capable graphics card then the 64mb unit that i have at the mo.

    cheers!

Yes that would work. but if you dont have a dedicated graphics card right now then you will need a new heatsink and charger. also the diffrence between 64mb and 128mb is minor.
