Hi, I'm looking to upgrade my dv6-3119sa laptop to a 1080p screen. Having done a lot of research I ordered the B156HW01 V4 screen. I also read that I needed a new display cable, but not the replacement listed for 3119sa, a cable which was hull HD, possibly from another model. Having spoke to hp's parts online chat I ordered the 665304-001 display cable but unfortunately it doesn't fit, let alone work. They also recommended 665305-001 and 656805-001 but im unsure whether to order another.

Could you please advise as to which cable would work? My laptop also has a mic and true vision webcam. The 665304-001 didn't come close to fitting the webcam, and when I booted the laptop the screen was completely black. I could probably sacrifice the webcam as long as the 1080p screen worked.

Any advice would be great, HP support is awful!

    thanks a lot,
    Adam
