I have updated to latest HP Quickplay and have also updated my IDT HD audio codec. I have an older Onkyo 602 receiver (no HDMI), so I am using a quickdock to get an SPDIF output. HDMI is used to hook directly to a projector for video signal only. For standard DVD play back, Quickplay supports both DTS and Doly multichannel encoding via the SPDIF. I get ONLY 2 channel PCM from Blu-ray discs.

Anybody have any ideas/solutions? And no I really do not want to drop $100 on UltraDVD 8.

Interestingly, I discovered that hitting the i (info) button on the HP remote button magically sends digital output through SPDIF. Makes not one lick of sense, but it's working.

Unfortunately now the Blu-ray drive is making crappy noises and will not play.
