Hello, I purchased a couple of new games yesterday. However, i couldn't play any of them because the ODD won't read from the disc correctly. I once installed Linux on VMware and it disabled the autorun so not knowing what to do to re enable it, i just went into windows registery and messed it up.

My ODD is DVD SUP.MTI. Anyone have any idea how to fix it?

P.S Reinstalling windows won't do the job because the computer just can't read from the disk

Saying "it won't read the disc" isn't very insightful.

lol, it literally wouldn't read from the disc. Gives me the 1390 errors and tells me that it can't allocate the file. I have the legitimate DVD and it's not damaged or anything. I think the drive might be spinning way too fast. because those CDs work just fine in my other laptop.

I remember someone telling me about using nero to slow the speed down. Does anyone know how?

You tried the disc in another box or tried other discs in the drive? If you have Nero, it's probably in the tools somewhere.
