    is there any program like Gpu-z and Cpu-z which gives information abt the DVD rom in a computer???
    i wanna check mines read and write speed cuz i used the default windows program to write some files on a DVD-R and the mximum speed option it gave me was 4x.....now i m a bit confused shouldn't the maximum speed be 16x...Aint 4x too low????

    The Nero tools are good, but if you do not have nero, I recommend downloading SISandra. This program will tell you virtually everything about your computer.
