whenever i put a blank dvd-r-rw disk into my D drive it changes from DVD-rw to just CD-rom is there a way to fix this? So far i ahve uninstalled it re-booted, It's weird because when i eject the disk it goes back to saying the drive is a DVD-r-rw drive.
I guess to best way to describe it, is that it's reading DVD-R-RW disk as a standard CD

I had files waiting to be written, but it wouldn't let me write them to my disk(DVD r) Kept saying i needed to put a CD R in the drive. And that my disk wasn't compatible media. I tried 4 different types of media, same result.
Oh well, soon as my backup is done I am reformatting!!!!!
