I think your computer has the optical drive set as the first device in the boot sequence, so each time you start it is trying to read a disc.
Go into the BIOS and change the boot sequence to put the hard disk first. Most notebooks also have a key which you can press when the BIOS splash screen shows which allows you to select a different boot device. For example, F2 may get you into the BIOS but Esc, or F10 or F10 will bring up a boot menu.

thank you soo much for your quick responce. well its F10 for me but the BIOS is soo sensitive and u can mess up ur pc if u dont know what ure doing. so do u know exactly where in the BIOS can i change the boot sequence soo the hard drive can boot first. when i put on my pc there is a black screen and the dvd drive does it thing (NOISE) for like 3-4 seconds and then the splash screen apprears.
ok i got into the BOOT Options
the dvd-cd drive was indeed first and i changed it i put the notbook pc HD first and the dvd-cd drive third but it still does the same noise trying to read a disc,????????????? that is soo annoying i really want to make that stop any more suggestions ??? -
Their should be an option in the bios, maybe under the advanced tab, which will let you change the spindle speed of the cd drive.
It usually says Performance, Quiet, balanced. Try changing to one of these settings if you have the option.
