was just wondering......
how many cd/dvd's do you guys burn in a row (in succession) without letting the computer/drive rest and cool down?
is there some standard number that you should stop at and give the burner a rest?
i ask because i want to extend the life of my notebook to the max.....and don't notice much of a temp increase (cpu/hdd/general feel) on the notebook after burning 3-4 cd's , but want to make sure what the real deal is.....

I think there is any problem in burning many disks one after another.
I mean, I don't mean hundreds, but I've burned up to 10 without problem.

You could install some temperature monitoring software to make sure things don't get out of hand.

I dont think it really matters.
I rarely have to burn more than one CD or DVD so maybe I wouldn't know.
But my CPU usage never gots too high during burning like my old Athlon 1800+ did. -
I did 50 CDs twice durring summer times.

It doesn't matter because by the time you eject and insert the cd/dvd a lot of heat is released.

I burned 10 DVDs in a row once and it worked fine, no over heating or anything. Just put your notebook in place that doesn't constrict airflow.
