The Notebook Review forums were hosted by TechTarget, who shut down them down on January 31, 2022. This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    hey ive done some research on ddr 400 modules (200 pin), and i have 2 slots in my laptop.. i think the max size ive found was 1 GB.. if possible i want to put 2x2GB sticks in it, but i cant find any 2GB sticks.. has anyone come across these? and if not, what are the best 1 GB sticks out there?? thanks..

    even cheap ones as a-data work very well, kingston is more or less compatible with everything and best all-around choice.
