Watch out 4200! 5300 will now stomp on it. Price is nice $140 for 4GB CL4!
-
wow u serious where can i get that?
-
-
i dont seen no link for 4gb of ram!!
-
-
Ok!! im gettin confused?? is cl4 better than cl5? and if so the 667 is the fastest u can get, rite?
-
Lower CL is better and 667Mhz is the fastest widely available notebook RAM. The CL4 is important because 667Mhz is 20% faster than 533Mhz but CL5 is also 20% more (slow down) than CL4. With the 667Mhz CL4 you now get the full speed advantage over 533Mhz CL4.

Great, so whats all the fuss about, think i should get these?

Here is a site that did a bunch of memory tests with diffrent CL and speed.

It's desktop memory but I'm guesing the benchmarks would come out pretty much the same if it was notebook memory. -
Looks great to me, faster than anything I've seen and price looks good. Buy!
-
Looks good to me why not, corsair is good memory.
-
Alrite thanks for the help guys, ill go for it!
-
I checked corsair's webpage and I cannot find anywhere that model number matching those specs. newegg has the same ram kit and they have the CL listed as 5.
Anyway corsair is a good reputable brand, go for it. -
Yeh, ur probably rite, but i could get money back if its false advertisement
-
-
Yeh, I also have my doubts! ahh well its still a good price, CL4 or not!

I'm pretty sure this is CL5 @ 667MHz but CL4 @ 533MHz. Some of the people preparing the website descriptions can't understand the technicalities. Even this site says CL4 and they should know better.
It's highly unlikely that the budget RAM will be the fastest available.
