So I've had stuck pixels before, but this is something new. I opened up windows media player today and was faced with a rather large area of white spots. These appear to be stuck pixels, based on the fact that in between the light gray pixels, a few other colors can be seen with close inspection. So that you can get an idea for what I'm talking about, the attached thumbnail was made in paint using the spray brush tool to paint over the exact regions that this occurs in. Anyone have any idea what this is? They're not dead, I assume, as they aren't black but rather a light gray and a few other colors. I tried JScreenFix for about 20 minutes with no alleviation of the stuck pixels, as well as massaging them.

run dead pixel tester and see if they are actually dead pixels are not.
It almost looks like someone applied a ton of force to the two small areas of your screen, which is causing the pixelation.
If you push lightly on the screen do you see large circles form around wher you are pushing?
If you do, that means the mylar backing of the screen was pierced from either too much pressure being exerted on the front of the LCD or from the back of the LCD. Unfortunately the only ways to fix this are:
    1) the hit and miss way - massaging the screen
    or
    2) replace the LCD.
