Which would provide a better combination, a T2400 and a 80gb 7200 hard drive or a T2500 and a 100 gb 5400 rpm hard drive?
The ram is 2gb 667mhz and I would just like to have a answer soon as I am purchasing today.
Thanks for all the replies

Are you planning on downloading a lot of music and videos?

I play alot of games, and I transfer alot of stuff from my current laptop, which im taking to classes. I download on my current laptop and transfer. I have alot of Divx/Xvid movies, but I dont care about storage. I just want to know which will be better for overall performance.

In that case the T2400 with 7200rpm will be much better than the T2500 with 5400 rpm. You will see a definte increase in speed (i.e decrease in load time) when loading files and booting up. If you went with the T2500 the difference in speed between the processors in not noticeable at all. The better HD will definately see results.
