    hello,

My new dell 1520 is working fine, apart from one problem.

In the review i read it said that it has an s-video out port. So i tried playing a dvd and connecting, via an s-video cord, to my projector. but my projector just says no input.

Can the dell 1520 output movies via an s-video cord ?
    the review suggested it can.
or do i have to alter settings in some way?

    thanks for any advice

Ensure the S-Video port is turned on once you connect the wires in the NVidia control panel (you can find it in the Control Panel)...

Unless you changed the default settings it should then output your video full screen to your secondary screen.

Also, you would need to make sure to hit the right key combo to send the signal from your laptop to the projector (Fn+F8) for my Inspiron E1505, might be the same for you too...
