    Hey guys

Thanks for all the feedback from the other forums. Now can someone verify some batter questions have:

(the 1730 I am planning on getting is a 1730 with an extreme core 2 duo, dyal sli 8800 gtx + 4 gigs of ram + bluray drive and AW 15x im planning to get is a 2.6 ghz + single 8800 gtx + 4 gigs of ram)

    1. How long will the battery will last with the 1730 with disabiling 1 video card and just doing word processing + web browing and no gaming?

    2. How long would the 1730 battery last if I'm gaming with dual video cards SLI enabled?

    3. Does the 1730 have smart bay capabilities? if not will they be upgradable to this in the future?

4.How long will the battery will last with the AW m15x with disabiling 1 video card and just doing word processing + web browing and no gaming? with and without stealth mode.

    5. How long would the AW m15x battery last if I'm gaming ?

    6. How much longer will the battery last on the M15x if I had a smart bay battery pack 6 cell on it?

    Thanks

Most likely not very long. Desktop replacements are known to get poor battery life. If you get over an hour I would be amazed.
I am able to get 90 minutes on my Voodoo ENVY U709, which has a larger power draw than both of the systems mentioned. I have a 12 cell battery and a 125watt power consuming opteron 185, and a 65watt consuming Quadro FX2500M.

So youre answer is do not game on battery.
If I crunch numbers and utilize full processor speed and graphics power, I get around 18 minutes of power.

I recommend undervolting the processor for better battery life, I gained about 4 minutes on my desktop replacement, and around 20 minutes on my Dell.
