    Hey Guys,

I have a Dell 9300 laptop and recently two keys popped out.

    - for one of the keys the green Plunger also came out. Now can I stick it back with glue ???

    - with the second key, its loose although I have put it back in place. The thing which is called the 'Scissor' has a part of it broken and as a result the key keeps coming off.

Where can I get this part in Sydney, Australia ?

    Please advise.
    Cheers.

You could try Dell, but most likely they will try to sell you a whole keyboard.

Otherwise you need to look for some broken keyboards and see if you can find one with the same parts (I suspect that there is considerable similarity in the underlying components - most keyboard are made by a few specialist companies such as Chicony).

You could pull another key apart and see how the plunger is fixed. I suspect it may not need any glue if the key is assembled correctly.
