Hi everyone,
Hope posting in the right place. anyways recently my ram went bad and i called dell tech support for a replacement, dell agreed to send me a new ram.
The next day engenier came with new ram, he opened my laptop. while releasing the ram from ram latch he pressed the latch too hard and guess what it broked into two pieces.
I called dell they told they are sending me a new refurb mother board, but i don't want to replace it with a refurb one.
Anyone here could help me to find the solution, i will be very gratefull to him.
thanks in advance.

So a Dell rep broke your laptop and now they want to repair it using refurbished parts...
I think you have two options:
1. Refuse it and demand new parts or a new laptop and see what happens.
2. Accept the refurbished parts.
Seems like you don't want number one, so why not try number two. Call Dell and demand new parts for your laptop. -
Yea, Phil's suggestions sound like the best thing you can do right now.

Dell does not use new motherboards for repair as far as I know. While there is absolutely nothing wrong with the refurb and it is covered by warranty I get your point. If you cant get the issue resolved through normal customer service shoot an email to there escalations dept.
What kind of laptop do you have? I'm surprised they didnt let you change the RAM yourself, it's pretty easy on most Dells I know of.
Well.....nevermind. The OP has been banned for some reason. Interesting. -
Weird why was he banned?
