I have a dell 2 ghz D620 with WXGA+ and the 256MB NVIDIA® Quadro NVS 110M TurboCache. I want to purchase an external monitor that I will hook up through a D/Dock station.

Does anyone know if the UltraSharp 2007WFP 20.1-inch Widescreen Flat Panel LCD Monitor can be used, and displays images well with the D620. Dell only recommends the 19in flat panel but am looking for something bigger.

Anyone tried to combine these two or any thoughts would be useful?

    Thanks!

Any thought on the image quality? Will the image appear as sharp as the laptop LCD or will it be blurry?

If you put the monitor in its native resolution, it will be sharp. DVI-D picture quality is very good; the D-dock is a nice accessory. We have a couple people at the office who use them in conjunction with the Ultrasharp monitors.

The D620 appears to be limited to 1440x900 resolution but the native resolution on the UltraSharp 2007WFP is 1,680x1,050. Is that going to cause a problem and result in a poor image?

The laptop's native resolution doesn't matter . . I have an external LCD hooked up to my laptop, it works fine.
