Hi, I want to get a 1505 but have many upgrades and do not know if they are worth it.

    1. What is the advantage from the regular D1390 Wireless card to the Intel Pro 395 Bluetooth? What is the bluetooth used for in this laptop?

    2. The TV Tuner, will it really record shows at a good quality or will it be better to get an external one?

    3. Can you get Dell to upgrade these parts in your computer if it doesn't include them?

I'll tackle #1...Most people have said that the Intel Wireless card is slightly better than the Dell card in terms of range and signal capture. Also, the Intel card will make your laptop officially a Centrino FWIW (ie. not much).

Bluetooth can be used for any number of things. For example, pairing the computer with a cell phone to access the internet through it, pairing the computer with wireless bluetooth headphones, wirelessly synching with pocket PC PDAs, etc
