Hi, I have a Dell Inspirion 6400 Laptop with a IntelĀ® Graphics Media Accelerator 950.
The game I am looking to play requires one of the following: Video card with 32 MB or more memory and one of these chipsets is required: ATI Radeon 7500 (64MB), Radeon 8500 or greater; NVIDIA GeForce 2 GTS or greater.
My first question is wether or not I can actually upgrade my video card in a laptop.
Second, I have been told I should get a ATI Mobility Radeon X1300 or X1400. Is this true?

you cant, you have the integrated graphics which is BUILT INTO the motherboard and you are not able to put another video card in. The game you are talking about SHOULD play on the GMA950 quite easily (i think)

The 6400/e1505 can be upgraded, however its very very restrictive. If you have the GMA950, you need a new motherboard. If you have the x1300/x1400/7300, you can interchange within those 3 only, since its modular.

If they game you want to play runs fine on an Radeon 7500 or Geforce 2 (both old, outdated chips) it'll run fine on the GMA 950, which I believe performs better than both.
