Ok, Ive had this laptop for a couple years now and its been a great computer...up until now. Heres whats going on:

When I start up the computer the loading start up screen comes on and i have to press any key on my keyboard for it to finish loading to go to the desktop screen. Even if i wanted to, at the loading screen, I wouldnt beable to press a (F)unction key because that would just let the computer finsih loading and go onto the desktop screen.
When i am on the desktop screen everything loads up fine, but my keyboard WILL NOT TYPE. PERIOD. UNLESS, i right click on Internet Explorer, click Run as Administrator THEN i can use my keyboard. But it still does funny things. My bottom CRTL, ALT and WINDOWS keys will not work. Ive noticed (just depends) I can press my escape key to open my start menu. Also, the shortcuts CTRL+c and CTRL+v, DO NOT work. I have to right click to copy and paste. Its SUPER frustrating and annoying. Is this hardware related or what?
I'm not sure what is going on...Somebody PLEASE help me!!

I have a feeling your metakeys are stuck in the "on" position or at least wonky. Ctrl-Esc has been the shortcut to bring up the start menu since windows 95 (i think it brought up task manager in windows 3.1).
