    Hi Guys!

    I would like to ask few questions:

    -I have a Dell Inspiron 1525 with Intel T2330 1.6 Ghz, I would like to Upgrade it to Intel T8300 2.4 Ghz? would that be possible?

    -I have already upgrade my BIOS to the latest update, and BTW Will Dell Inspiron 1525 support 45nm processors?

    -If possible will it overheat?

    1) Yes.

    2) The T8300 is already a 45nm processor... so yes. You just can't use Socket P processors with an FSB of more than 800MHz.

    3) Nope. The T8300 probably runs a little cooler than the T2330 if anything.

    You could use a t8300 and it will actually run cooler then the t2330 because the t2330 is 65nm and the new t8300 would be 45nm. Also yes you can use any 45nm cpu's but only 800mhz fsb chips. So only these chips

    CPU FSB l2 cache speed
    T8100 800mhz 3mb 2.1ghz
    T8300 800mhz 3mb 2.4ghz
    T9300 800mhz 6mb 2.5ghz
    T9500 800mhz 6gb 2.6ghz
