I'm looking to replace the DVD drive that came with my Dell Inspiron 6000 with a burner with double layer write capacity. Can anyone make any recommendations? I'd prefer to avoid an external drive if possible.

    Thanks!

You might try checking dell spare parts. They are a little expensive, but it is better than getting a drive that won't fit or is mismatched in color.
