In searching for bluetooth cards for my I6000, I have noticed some that come either with, or without a cable. Question: Will I need that cable? The ones I am seeing are cheaper without.
In the online Dell service manual, their pictures don't show any cable other than the ribbon cable connected to the battery door. It is different than the ones I have seen for sale. I'll have to check for sure but I remember seeing that black ribbon cable in my (empty) bluetooth compartment inside the batter compartment.

I assume for installation via mini-PCI card? I'm not 100% certain but I would assume the antenna is already run inside the notebook and you just need to plunk in the card.

Hoop,
I purchased a Dell truemobile 350 internal bluetooth card shortly after the purchase of my Ispiron 6000.
I wasn't sure what I needed either, so I I bid on an auction that included the cable,
turns out I didn't need it.
I still saved about $20 buy buying the bluetooth from ebay, instead of Dell

after you get it, how do you install it?
Dell Inspiron 6000 bluetooth - cable required?
