I recently ordered a Dell Inspiron E1505 and it should be here by Monday. The stats are as followed:
1.83 Ghz Intel Core Duo Processor
120 Gigabyte 5400 RPM Hard Drive
1 Gigabyte RAM
256 Megabyte ATI Radeon X1400 with Hyperforce
15.4 Inch Ultrasharp WSXGA+ with Truelife.
9 cell battery
Windows Media Center 2005
Cd/Dvd-rw Optical Drive
I was wondering what the difference between the "Ultrasharp WSXGA+" and the regular WSXGA+ is. Is there a noticable ammount of difference? And since it is the Truelife model it will have the "glossy" look right?
Also, if anyone has a near-exact setup, what would the Super-PI speed be for 1m or 2m.
Lastly I would like to know if its possible to run 5.1 surround sound on the integrated sound card, if it isn't, what would I have to buy to do it. Thanks thats all for now.

1.) There is no "regular" wsxga+, only "ultrasharp" The ultrasharp lcd offers greater brightness and better viewing angles. The truelife will have the glossy coat, yes.
2.) I had a 1.83Ghz dual core e1505 and I consistently got about 1:15-1:17 in SuperPi. (2 Million)
Not sure about the sound card, sorry. -
Awesome thanks, anyone know about the sound issue?
