Hey, new here an new to dell laptops, i just traded my aspire one for this laptop, seems a good trade. Anyways, The memory was upgraded to 2gb already, as was the hdd. Now, i want to upgrade the wifi card, i want to know whats compatible and will give me great range for b/g. Or should i just go buy a pcmcia card? Also, is there any way to install a different touchpad, one that has scrolling? Any help is appreciated, thanks.

The best wifi card you can get is probably the Intel 2915. A solid alternative is the Intel 2200. And of course, there are also plenty of branded Broadcom options out there as well. If you want some feature like wireless N, then you may want to consider a PCMCIA solution, but for the most part, these internal cards should be fine.

There is no way to replace the touchpad with something more fully-featured.
