Hi,
I have Dell D630 WXGA+ (1440x900) and I would like to add a webcam.
I am interested in your upgrade, but from your post I am not quite clear how did you fit the webcam. The specs I've read from Dell website mention no webcam on dell D630 XFR. Is it a third party? I understand I would need to get the mentioned Dell XFC IO board (dell part number is: 0D868C), but the mystery to me is the webcam and/or the bezel with appropriate webcam opening.
And of course, if possible, i'd like to stick to the WXGA+ resolution. However, I do not care much for the touchscreen. -

This is quiet amazing and I want to give it a try on my D830. I've got a Samsung webcam. Can you tell/show me how to solder the camera tape into usb plug (cable assignment). I want to solder a usb cable to the motherboard back-usb-port and connect the camera.

I am impressed!
Can I ask what this cost in the end (just curious)?
I guess no girly dolls for you when you were a baby?
