Recently purchased a Precision M6700. Quick specs: 2.7 GHz i7 processor, NVidia k5000 video, 16 GB RAM, dual solid state 500 GB HD's. Did all initial setups with unit plugged into power supply and CAT5 cable. Installed some of my 3rd party software such as my mapping programs and such. When I put the unit into my port replicator, with nothing attached, I received a invalid partition error. Have already rebuilt this computer once. I do not have any problems booting off the replicator. However, regardless of whether or not I have my attachments to the replicator, I receive errors. I'm now not even getting the Dell splash screen and at times when I do get the system to come up, I will receive and error stating that I have an invalid copy of windows. IF anyone is having trouble with their new computer and port replicator, please contact me. Dell and I are going around and around on this and I'm tired of playing thier games. They have even admitted to recreating this problem but refuse to acknowledge a problem.
    Thanks
    Bill
