I own a Dell Inspiron 9300. The mother board quit and I have installed a new one. It works great, with one problem. It no longer has the Dell Service code/ serial number programmed in it. It is causing some issues with updates as it can't verify the computer is the correct system for some software. Does anyone know how I can program the correct numbers into the BIOS or OS so it matches again?
