I ordered the Studio 17 without the LED screen, instead chose the CCFL(1440*900) screen...I am kind of regretting it :( . How much would a WLED screen(1440*900) cost(US$)>

If the dell is still in manufacturing, you can contact dell and have the order modified.
Changing the screen after the fact will involve buying the screen through dell, and then having a dell technician come and install it. (So your warranty does not void)

Call dell or email your sales person, and you should be able to get the order changed

Just act now, before it goes into build.

    do this:
order another studio 17, with the configurations you want.

when the first one you ordered ( the one w/o the screen you wanted) comes, either 1) "refuse the shipment", which will send the notebook back to dell and they should give you a refund, or a better choice imo, is 2) just return the first one after it comes by calling dell, telling them you dont want it, having them give you a shipping ticket and what not. I say this is better because you are 100% that you are gunna get your money back, rather then just refusing the shipment...in which something has a chance of going wrong. its a little work, but it will cost you nothing, dell doesnt have restocking fee

Wow, that sucks. They wouldnt change your configuration.
Try calling again, you will get someone different, and hopefully they can be of more help.
