I tend to touch my palm against my keypad frequently when typing, and it screws up my documents while typing.
Is there a way to Disable the keypad while a mouse is plugged into the USB? So far I haven't found a way to do it.

If you have the Synaptics touchpad software installed, you should be able to click on an option for disabling when you have a USB mouse installed.

There was a post about this yesterday in the Gateway forum. Dell's version of the Synaptic touchpad drivers have a feature that can automatically disable the touchpad when a USB or Bluetooth mouse is detected. Here's yesterday's post:
