    Hi All,
I just got a new dell XPS 15 laptop and was not happy with the existing WLED TL (1366x768) display screen the quality of pictures/movies played is not great at all. I'm planning to get a FHD B+RGLED TL (1920x1080) 1080p display screen but my concern being is it really worth it cos Its jus been two days that I own an XPS 15 and not quiet convinced to send it acroos to the dell service center for an upgrade. The biggest fear is what incase I send it for an upgrade and once i recieve it Its worse than what I see.

    I'm really confused!!!!!! :(

Also I would Appreciate if any one can guide me through as to how to go about contacting dell for the upgrade and I have the warranty for the laptop so would I still be eligible to claim warranty post upgrading or that would not hold valid since I got the screen changed???? Also How long would it takes for the replacement to be done and is it genuine to get it done from dell service centers itself??? And how much more would it cost for the FHD B+RGLED TL (1920x1080) 1080p display?

    My Sytem Config is :
2nd generation Intel® Core™ i7-2670QM processor (2.20 GHz with Turbo Boost up to 3.10 GHz)
    6GB DDR RAM
    2GB GeForce® GT 540M graphics
    750GB SATA hard drive (7200RPM)
15.6" (39.6cm) HD (1366x768) WLED display (want to upgrade to "15.6" (39.6cm) FHD (1920x1080) B+RGLED display with TrueLife" or something similer)

Thanks in Advance and hope to get some the best advice on the same. :)

Call in, get an RMA, and return it. Then buy a new XPS with a configuration that includes the 1920x1080 display.

    Also consider:
    - Not upgrading to the GT 540M. It's only 12% faster than the GT 525M, and in my opinion the upgrade cost is unjustified.
    - Getting the smallest amount of RAM possible, and upgrading it yourself if necessary because it's usually cheaper to upgrade it yourself.
