    Hello,

    I'm wanting to buy a Dell XPS M1530, but there is one thing that keeps me from buying it directly from the Dell online shop; the battery.

    I've searched everywhere and the 9 cell seems to be the better choice, but once I went searching for pictures I got confused because I find 2 pics which do n't even look like each other but both claim to be a XPS M1530 with 9 cell battery.

    Pic 1: http://www.notebookreview.com/assets/29191.jpg

    Pic 2: http://www.dell-m1330-info.com/images/dell_xps_m1330_battery_power.jpg

    If picture 1 is the how it looks like, I definitely want to go for the 9 cell, but if picture 2 shows the truth.. =\ It looks a bit goofy with that thing on the back.

    Thanks in advance and sorry for the bad English, I'm a 13-year old boy and English isn't my home language. ;)

    Greets!

    [EDIT]

    I just found out that the URL from pic 2 has M1330 in the name, but I saw the same picture on other forums claiming that it was a picture of the M1530, which one is it really?

    Yeah, the one in the pic is the 9 cell battery.
    It sticks out a bit, but it is very useful for typing, as it raises the back a little bit. So its like having a docking station. Go for it!

    Concur - go with the 9-cell battery. I regularly enjoy 3.5-4 hours out of it, and the larger size DEFINITELY improves the typing angle.

    Thanks, I'm sure I want the 9 cell now!

    I have another little question though, it's kinda' offtopic but I think it's silly to make a whole new topic for this;

    Will an Intel 2ghz processor + 2gb RAM be enough for just browsing, MSN and making papers? Or do I need more RAM?

    That's plenty of power for those tasks.
