    Dell latitude D600 - Replacing parts

    I am looking into changing the motherboard out with a version newer perhaps a D610-D800

    parts by ebay.

    Does anyone have any recommendations, ideas, comments or concerns?

    I don't know how changing the mobo's gonna help you, but I've bought a few computer parts on ebay with reasonable success. Most of the time I just make sure the seller offers a guarantee against DOA and/or a short return period just to test the item.

    So far I haven't actually had to return a component purchased from ebay.
