    hi folks,

Long time since I have posted here, like the new layout!

Okay, I am considering purchasing a Dell mini 9, but one element annoys me:

    I already own a 2gb 800mhz ddr2 sodimm ram chip.
In the mini 9 they use 800mhz ddr2 chips, underclocked at 533mhz.

I was wondering what would happen if I put my 800mhz chip in it.
If ram was underlockable manualy, or if the motherboard does it automatically.

    thx

Automatically. In other words, it would make no difference than the Dell one.

    :)
