I'm pretty sure you can get DDR2 667MHz.

Are you running Vista or Windows 7?

    The XPS1330 has 2 DDR2 memory slots
You can use up to 4GB PC5300/PC6400 memory in a (2x2GB) configuration.
Buy which ever memory is cheapest, as long as it has a lifetime warranty.

    Good Luck,
the memory upgrade process is very easy

A 32-bit OS won't be able to take advantage of all 4GB of RAM.

    This is true,
you will only see around 3.1-3.25 gb of memory on a 32 bit platform.

It isnt really a big problem, as the memory will still run in dual channel synchronous mode.

You might as well install Windows 7 64-bit if you can. There shouldn't be any issues with it and you'd be able to take full advantage of your upgrade.

get a 2X2GB DDR2-667 or DDR2-800 kit... the DDR2-800 should be cheaper... and get the 64 bit Windows 7 to use the full 4GB... also 64 bit should be slightly faster...
